We hiked the Foothills Trail April of 2007, and as we tried to gather information from other websites on their experiences, we found that there were not many pages to be found. Information on this relatively new and undiscovered trail was hard to find, especially the kind of "insider information" you get only from an average person hiking the trail, and giving their own accounts of experiences, trials and tribulations.We created this page with the hopes of informing others of the difficulty of the trail, the terrain type, how to read the guidebook (published by The Foothills Trail Conference), and many other insider tips. We also created this site to commemorate our journey on the 76 mile hike from Table Rock State Park to Oconee State Park.
